Ok, thanks. Just wondered because I’m pondering doing a 10k which is described as hilly. Just not sure if their idea of hilly is the same as mine!

My rule of thumb: if I'm told a race is undulating, that's hilly. If it says hilly, I'll be walking some of the ups :-D

Whoop whoop, just ran my first 10km.
And even managed a respectable average of 9.17min / mile.
Planning on a park run next weekend.

Well done, Little Critter! Sounds like you're finding your feet properly.
I also live in a smallish place with only a very limited span of lit streets. I won't run on the unlit country lanes at night as it would only take one drunk or stoned driver to finish me off. This means that my weekday evening runs often cover the same ground several times, which isn't very interesting but is better than not running at all.
