She's running the distance of 100 marathons (2,620 miles) through Britain – completely barefoot. She started in June in the Shetland Islands and is currently heading down the coast of North East England. Her aim is to finish in London in November. She's really fun to run with (pace about 11-12 min miles) and although she's self sufficient, she's welcoming runners to join her. I was going to take them off when we ran along the beach but I ended up trying to hold a go pro and record audio on an i-phone, so I couldn't have managed to carry my trainers too. Just writing a blog about it now

HappyG I don’t think she’s specifically fundraising, but she does a lot with girl guiding to encourage girls to have adventures of their own. She earns enough from her books and speaking to be able to fund adventures like this. Life goals!
