Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I wore road shoes last year and was just about ok, but it was a lot drier. I intend to dig out my trail shoes and put them in the washing machine to remove some of the mould.

Trail shoes will be best. Spikes can be ruined on the 2 short stretches of tarmac.

Next year Speedie?

Wee heads up according to reliable source - a short section in the woods is quite muddy following conifer clearance.

I have run in three times in spikes but only old 6mm makes the short tarmac bit a little risky but any lost is re-gained in the grass sections particularly against road shoes.

hope to do a run around the course tomorrow.

Look forward to the course report then.

How long are the short tarmec stretches? At the moment I'm thinking I'll wear my X-Talons not spikes but I'll wait to see what the Chiefy course report says regarding the amount, depth and slippiness of the mud/grass.
