Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Anyone know the area around Cambur Sands?

There is also Drusilla's Zoo about an hour away, though probably zoos are bit to old for 6 month old.

Another vote for Rye, Hastings, and also Bodiam Castle and the steam train that runs from there to Tenterden which is a lovely town to meander around. Leeds Castle is beautiful but I am not sure where it is in relation to Camber Sands to be honest, I'm just thinking of places to visit in that general area.

If the weather's nice, you can always go to the beach as well.

We did the same years ago when we only had the one toddler, we went to Bodiam, Chartwell and Bateman whilst we were there. A bit of driving but all trust places and all exceptional.

Excellent, thanks. Our Trust membership runs out at the end of the month so would be good to make use of it (might renew but the little one is proving a tad expensive).

Beach is a must. We are just conscious we can't have him out there all of the time, and no doubt the UK weather will prevent the beach for at least one day of the week!
