Played "Thomas Was Alone" last night in a "soon leaving PS+" grab. And enjoyed every minute. I have never empathised with a quadrilateral before. Very enjoyable ~4 hours. |

Jamie , thanks for recommendation of The Talos Principle (and Perfect Organism who I think recommended it to you? ) . I'm having to force myself to stop playing it to go to bed. Always a good sign! And was enjoying Dysmantle as well. Love how these cut price games from 2 or 3 years ago still seem super high quality to me, who isn't used to modern games. Great having a hobby that gives so much enjoyment, sometimes for just 5 quid or 10 quid. G

Glad you're enjoying them! Seems to me the sensible way to game these days, although I do still occasionally jump for a big day 1 release like GoW...

I fell for the 100,000,000th time and this time landed in the lake at the front of the Temple of Time. We’re back, baby. If I get stuck for something to do though I’ll have another go at glider-teetering. I’d convinced myself it couldn’t be done until I read Dougal’s post |

Oh yeah Merry Christmas and Happy NewG(rrr) The Talos Principle is great. I never got round to finishing it as I got stumped on a few puzzles and then it faded away amongst the never ending torrent of new media, but I really enjoyed what i did play. I believe a sequel is out/in the pipeline.

Sequel is out. I've not dropped the pennies for it as yet, as I've too much in the game backlog, but it got good reviews I believe.

I've done A B and C and am on tower level 2 of 7. Haven't had to ask the messenger for help yet! Love all the existential story. No idea if it has any relevance to the actual puzzles but makes for fascinating ambience. Thank both. G |

How much?! With a sequel out I'd not be paying more than £15 for it.
