Quite an epiphany was Blackpool marathon it was where I was introduced to the world of Fetch

Particularly remember hearing two spectators who were hanging out of a hotel window shout "Urrrgh, someone's had a shite outta this window; there's a big turd on that roof".

Oh Blackpool was my first Marathon.

One group of still drunk folk shouted 'Get a life at us.
One thinks they should've listened to their own advice.

Now I have a soft spot for Blackpool despite all its faults.

No idea why really though I do have some great memories from there in my childhood and teenage years.

Not the sort of place I'd usually gravitate too.

My wife and I like Blackpool for a long weekend or a midweek break.
Mostly walking to Lytham or Fleetwood along the prom.
Much to see and do but lots of homeless last time we went.

I'm unsure of running Blackpool marathon as I know what the weather can be like.
Initial time probably won't be a PB.
