Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ah, sorry Paul. Thought you meant status of 1% beers in UK was de-alc. Rather than status of Paul! Good expression - like de-tox? :-) G

Like de-toxing... but not all the way. Aligns with my usual half arsed approach to things!

This might have been mentioned before, but some alc free beer recommendations from Germany:

- Erdinger alkoholfrei is, in my opinion, the best one. Fresh taste, you can taste the malt, not bitter, it's perfect after sports.

- Clausthaler

- Krombacher 0,0%

- Störtebecker FreiBier

- if you like bitter beers. Jever Fun.

and a swedish one: Mariestads alkoholfri.

I'm currently trying the options in Finland - but even beer WITH alcohol doesn't taste that good in FI, so without it's even worse :D

My wife bought my father in law a box for Father’s Day, I’m not sure he quite saw the point! We’ve now inherited them back so I will let you know what’s in it and update when my wife drinks them.

I hadn't realised 0.5 % was classed under the no alcohol beers as well n/a. I'd bought something and was having a glass in the bath when I noticed. Not getting hung up on it. For ease as there are so many at 0.5% ill go along with that. But no more than 0.5%.
Not tried anything new for a couple weeks. Going to pop to lidl and get a couple for tomorrow night. Got a big swim very early morning and I'll have them while I catch up on work reports in the evening.

You might want to avoid ripe bananas and soy sauce then...
