I thought the butter tea was an acquired taste, so I guess you could similarly acquire the taste for butter coffee if you try!
It doesn't mean it's right, though.

The yak butter tea was really weird... it tasted more of soup than tea, so once I had that expectation in my head, it wasn't actually too bad... Just don't expect tea! Sometimes they put tsampa in it as well, making it even more like soup, and it is salted!
