Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Had a busy morning, doing a bit of garden tidying before slowly jogging down to the gym for a weights session. My glute settled a bit as I warmed up on the jog, and gave me no trouble while I was doing my weights, but has started grumbling now I'm sitting on the sofa. So the message for me is, keep moving!

Breathed the wrong way and my hernia fell out. I cannot stand up straight and it is hard to walk. Have tried to get physio appointment. Hoping it eases off soon.

Ouch ITG, that sounds very unpleasant!

I keep waiting for you to turn up on BBC News talking about the orange buffoons plans for Greenland :-)

Blimey ITG! Dangerous thing, that breathing lark. I’m not sure how hernias “get better” but I hope it does so pdq.

Snow hanging on by its fingernails here. We currently have a choice of three conditions underfoot: completely clear, deep slush & lethal patches of ice. Hopefully we should see the back of the worst of it in 24 hours

@LazyDaisy I was in yesterday's "The National" if that counts (Scottish). Told The Telegraph man to go F himself in not so many words, but not far off. He wanted me to find him a Trump fan in Greenland to interview - not even pretending to solicit different views. ABC Australia and New York Times have also been in touch 😁.

Back pain is acute but I am hoping a night's rest will help. If I cannot get physio, I will go to A&E. It really is that bad 😭. Might be time to ask for an MRI and get a good look at it.

Bloody Trump to blame!

(Hernia did not literally fall out. Well, it might have. Acute pain in lower back where dodgy disc is. Pain has not been this acute in the past and the block on my range of motion is different.)

I can't help thinking an MRI is very much called for ITG!
