Morning. Had to take the van in to have the units finished today. Lovely 25 mile ride home on the bike planned but then it rained, and rained and rained. Soaked to the skin and some serious puddles to negotiate. Hope it's dry for the return journey tomorrow 🤞

Morning (just). Back from the seaside now; and have various life admin things to sort out this afternoon, so a run might not happen.

I'm so sorry to read about the massive row @Sombrero-ho-ho-ho . When my Mum was being extra difficult I usually took the 'bite my lip and let it wash over me' approach whereas my sister went in all guns blazing. I don't know that either was the 'right' way. Whatever makes *you* feel better, because I'm not sure either way had much impact on my Mum. Tough times; enjoy your break on the IoW xx

Not much fun on a bike MM but last time I got caught in the rain on my bike like that I found myself grinning like a loon as there was nothing else to do, it really made me feel alive. :)

Just a bit of walking and a dip in the ocean today, all very laid back while here.

The rain wasn't too bad, the puddles were the issue. Just couldn't avoid them, right across the road in places.

Let's just say it wasn't a gentle ride home - Garmin is telling me I need 32 hours recovery 😂

Ooosh, best rest up Mandy!

@LittleDonkeyDaisy - I'm the peacekeeper usually (my sister is the confrontational one but doesn't visit them much) but it all just got too much yesterday. It cleared the air and a much better day today. We're off to the IOW tomorrow morning so the weekend has been survived!
