I booked a swim for the 10:30 to 2pm slot (the later slot gets too busy with schoolkids!) but then in a discussion with OH I volunteered to take the car to have its wheel balancing sorted and possibly new rear tyres fitted, thinking I could get my run done while that was going on then head off for my swim. The run happened but the car took longer than I expected so the swim had to be cancelled. But it did mean that I could do some gardening instead so all was not lost. And it certainly got chillier as the day's gone on, so my swim might not have been that enjoyable.
