Morning! I managed to run 6km yesterday and it was ok. My foot was a bit niggly afterwards but ok.

Now on Copenhagen - Hamburg train, en route to Berlin.
Quite excited at nice, Northern European trains and seeing a bit of Germany.

Run well racers.

It's gorgeous here, we are off to Cromford in the peaks to do 7-8 miles along an old railway track. There's a midweek 10K race coming up that I fancy so Sal is going to show me the course.

Morning all.
Weekend has taken a turn for the worse as I seem to have succumbed to another bout of ?IBS which is particularly unfortunate as we are being taken out to a fancy lunch by the friends who are staying.
Oh well, better grit my teeth and get on with it but I wouldn't mind if they decided to go home tonight instead of staying till tomorrow.
Hope everyone else's day is much better than mine!

Train got less nice. Busy and not enough luggage space (only overhead shelf). Some large carriage-companions, one of whom is a smoker (not smoking on the train, of course, but still the lingering smell).

Run/walk done. Feeling very creaky in the hip department, wonder if yesterday's bike ride didn't help.

I'm off to wait tables at a charity tea thing this afternoon, I think I'll do my Mrs Overall impression. :)

AR - I shall be thinking Bridge of Don as Bog of Doom now! 😁

Nice 6 miler. Bit further than planned but a lack of toilets made for a longer run. Just a beast of a hill at the end. A few stops needed by all. Gave old man across the road a laugh seeing 3 runners take a seat at bus stop half way up 🥵
