Morning all!

Rest day today, I've got *two* races coming up this weekend. At least, I think I have - I'm sure I entered Sunday's 10k but race info from the organisers, nada. Given the weather forecast for heavy thundery rain on Sunday maybe that's a good thing!

My back is feeling pretty good - back to normal-for-me, I don't have achy calves, I lost 3k and just have 2k to go, I got two articles accepted for publication this week (one without any revisions which never happens and the comment "The language is flawless"), I returned another article after revisions, I hosted a brilliant Anishinabe law professor all week sponsored by the, Canadian Embassy, and 2 friends are arriving from Scotland for the weekend. I even had a nice evening with grumpy DS18, a violin lesson and 2 swim sessions.

Which explains why I have not been aroumd much but while absolutely knackered, it has been a good week!

Hoping everyone's aches and pains bugger off and you all have a great weekend.

For those that haven't stalked: Luxembourg Night (half) Marathon. It will be my first overseas half and my first evening half. My sister has been on at me to do it for years but it sells out quickly. Entries opened today. Need to train now :)
