Evening gonks.

We did a really fun session at track - 1500m, 800m, 400m, 200m, then a 4x100m relay.

I carried on with my 1500 to do a mile and bettered my time from last week (7.23).

I was happy with my 800m and 400m. Then got it a bit confused and did 400m instead of 200m by accident. The relay was hilarious, some really fast kids and adults and some not so fast adults like me. :-)

Sounds a great session, Som. Nice work on the mile :-)
I also did a mile this evening. At least I didn't get slower AGAIN, but Fetch tells me it was my 4th fastest out of 5 attempts. :-(

TeeBee, miles are horrible. I was still slower than I managed in July and only 2 seconds shaved off from last week's effort which felt hideous.

Keep doing the speed work, it'll pay off. :-)

I love a fast mile! But they are hard (but they don't last long, unlike bloody marathons... ;) )

Morning!
Tried to beat the heat with an early morning run but major twang in my right calf about a mile in, cut run short and hobbled home.
Hoping its just a really bad cramp due to heat / dehydration? *crosses fingers and wishes really hard*
At the very least that's run the sum out the window this month - so close! :-(
