GWS to naughty 🦵🐄. I am trying to sort out a trip to Scotland as my violin teacher passed away. We were very close. His widow has it in her mind that I will play Meditation at the funeral which is not going to happen as 28 years have passed since I played it well and even if I could still play it under perfect conditions, I would fall apart. It is a piece that is very easy to play very, very badly. Difficult phone call on today's to do list...

Knee has been xrayed - not fractures or visible damage so need to take it careful and let it recover fully - she said no running marathons as I left 😂. Full report will go back to doctors. Just need to get over the worry of it dislocating again but it was when knocked so should be OK 🤞
Sombrero Jul 2023 11:37am, 12 Jul 2023 13,210 posts	0 Sombrero Morning gonks. I didn't run this morning, I think I'm actually a bit nervous about the opening at the hospital. I get social anxiety from time to time and think I'm a bit unsure of what I'm going into. Been told to get there at a certain time so that Princess Anne's security are aware of who's in the building etc. I'll be OK when I get there. I haven't seen the framed work on the walls yet so that'll be exciting and one of my arty mates Lucie also did some work for the new hospital so we're heading in together although her work is in a different department. Doing a workshop late afternoon so will probably run tonight.
