Bloody hell. Boob eating beasts. Ultra running beasts. Double centurion parkrunning beasts. Nasty ankle injury causing beasts. And any other beasts I forgot.

Jersey parkrun was fabulous but it was too hot. 26.41 for me and 29.16 for Sal. Both around a minute and half slower than we would have liked but great course.

My legs are (unsurprisingly) aching! I’m trying to drink as much as I can but I’m still thirsty as hell. Dread to think how much I sweated out today. Conditions were brutal after the first couple of hours.

I’ve currently got 62,868 steps on my Garmin! I’ll add a few more this evening but as few as possible!

Wow, the sing-outs today were fab - brilliant audience at the festival - but I must've sweated buckets (I haven't needed the loo all day ;-) ) it was so, so hot!
