Off to the Highlands on Saturday with and mother for a week staying with cousins in a fabulous setting right out on the coast beyond Fort William. Haven't been for far, far too long. Gopingto scatter Dad's ashes in his favourite fishing river and loch. Will be wet and wild and weathery, and doggage and I will do some proper wet, autumn hill walking. I have OMM at the end of the month with DD2 in the Lake District and I'm still in summer mode

Some walkies done, not as much or as strenuous as thought we might. There has been all the weather and we both caught colds. Gaa! Still a very nice part of the world and so quiet (apart from the shouty stags! )
