I am enjoying walking. Targets are neither necessary etc. I walked past a trail race this morning, remembered the feelings, felt mildly envious then trotted off down the hill... I'd like to be able to run without the intermediate stages. I might try it when I've shifted some excess mass.

Hugs to all who need them. Been out on my hybrid to help with the grumpiness - cancelled my hotel for the ride 100 last night and sick of trying to shift weight without success. Didnt get to go paddleboarding this morning as there were so many swimmers in the harbour making the most of the flat sea and good weather and I didn't want to get in the way. BBQ and a couple of drinks now should help |

Had OWS intro session today which was great. J was Run Director today at parkRun as part of his DoE volunteering. Just as he was saying " And this is a no dog parkrun", the dog from the Sport's Bar wandered into the scene! Cue lots of laughter from the runners! J did very well especially speaking in front of unknown people. |

parkrun done; still keeping it below 45 minutes; age grading was 59.95%, now where was that other 0.05%? The curlywhirly looks interesting. Next time I'm staying with Younger Daughter in Bristol.... Good luck to all racing tomorrow, even if they intend to treat it as a run not a race. |
