Just back from week of Tri camp in Mallorca. Washing machine is on!

Monster week of activities, but in hindsight really enjoyed it. Swim every day, sometimes twice, a bit of running and over 350 miles cycled. (if you want a laugh, look at my training for this week ;-) ) Briliant hotel and a really lovely group. Lots of laughs.

Am absolutely shattered, but it was very nice not to have to think about anything or anyone else for a week and just turn up where and when told to.
Am off to lie dowon in a dark room for a few days now to recover.

Hope everyone is ok, haven't had a chance to read back.

I’ve just entered my first ultra :-O

It’s a baby ultra at “only” 55km but I’ll still get the badge :-) It’s the Ultra London on 8 Oct and goes from Woolwich to Richmond along the southern section of the Capital Ring.

Ammanford Tri done - it was fantastic fun but I had hoped for a better result, it wasn't bad but just 'meh'.

Great running Carp bunting

I have been out on the bike, 37 miles but tank was empty near the end just as I hit the hills - think headwind, lack of food and the last 48 hours didn't help

Called in to see mum on the bike ride, bless her she is still very poorly but did at least speak to me and know that I was there

I did indeed finish. PB and finally broke 4 hours 🙂 3:56:29 and then threw up after the finish line. Classy, me. Been hanging out with family since (did brush my teeth first)
