And love the new kit....but can I justify buying when have just ordered a new camping mat, and some magnesium oil spray (because it's, like, magically going to stop my legs from being sore after a LSR...)

I forgot to check in with the thread this morning :-0

Amicable is a real plus in nonetheless difficult times CStar xx

I have to admit to a DNS :-( The weather here has been really foul all afternoon, winding up to full-on gales this evening when I would have been driving to the Forest of Dean and running a woodland, hilly 5k. The old Severn Bridge is closed to all traffic which tells you it's not nice out there :-( Had it been a lovely summer-y evening it would have been lovely but it's not. And I can do it as a virtual race ans still get a medal so there we are. My first race for fifteen months and it's a DNS :-(

Evening folks, big hugs CStar and all the better if it can be amicable unlike mine xx

500 miles was my first mileage target and been here ever since and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. In here we are all friends and I don’t now where I would be without you all and occasionally sharktopus. Doubt I would have met Fleecy and LD if not been in here although the mundane thread is my most other visited thread so maybe I would have. ;-) . Anyways stick around folks whatever your distance heart

I def do not need another running shirt or vest but I will get one to support fetch and keep RonHill in business. Trying to decide between vest and T.... I prefer to run in a vest but it's not that hot up here and I don't xfit anymore...

Amicable is good, CStar. OH and I meet for an amicable cup of coffee once a week. More than that I wouldn't want. And there are topics we steer clear of.

I really can't remember how I discovered this thread. I know I managed 1,000 miles one year but it was really too much; I think I looked for a 750 thread, and then came across this one and have never left...

So you had The Weather too, Daisy? I actually went out in it this evening to join the running club (there weren't many of us). Came home soaked to the skin, after a run which included avoiding lumps of tree scattered across the paths. Ah, but doesn't it make you feel good afterwards.
