alpenrose Aug 2021 9:49pm, 25 Aug 2021 52,182 posts	0 alpenrose Club session this evening was something different. Our instructions were to bring a face mask. I thought it would be a red herring and it was. We had a go a guiding blind runners, especially in view of the Paralympics and that we now have a second VI runner registered at our parkrun. We paired up, one wore a mask and the other guided. We did 2 laps of a flat route then swapped. I seemed to be shoved over on my first lap and fell on grass, fortunately. Hopefully no lasting damage but I can feel my bum again after I thought it was nearly better. My blinded partner didn't seem to be able to hold a straight line so I kept having to pull and push him to stay on the path although he did seem to be drawn to lamp posts and fences.
