Hugs, ITG. Is your toe improving? Don't suppose the weather helps either. xx

No pothunter, I'm useless at quizzes.

A crap run is still better than no run - right?

crap run is better than no run, LG: you still burned calories and kept up your fitness, making it more likely you enjoy the next one.

The toe is improving. I managed to jog slowly 4k on Tuesday and 7k yesterday. I don't know what's wrong with me. Just utterly fed up with it all and not even sure what "it" is.

We are, Pothunter :-) We've been doing a YouTube Virtual Pub Quiz every Thursday and Saturday at 8:15pm, I'm pretty sure this must be the same one.

We will also be doing my work team quiz which starts at 7pm on Zoom. This could get complicated, as we usually FaceTime my sister in law and family when we do the pub quiz, and the work one is also on video.

I do my club quiz every Wednesday evening, but all it's showing me is that I know nothing about modern films or TV programmes :-)

I had a lovely long catch-up chat with a friend on my way back from walking the dog this morning (she had just popped out of her house to take the bins back in...nearly an hour later they were back where they should be :-) ) Then I went off for a bit of an explore of a path I've seen when walking the dog. It was a bit disappointing - just led me to the A435 - but it filled in a bit of the locality I've not explored before.

Now I'm thinking I might mow the lawn, although as I'm wearing my white bermuda shorts I'm not sure that's a clever idea ;-)

We do a quiz once a fortnight with friends and sometimes the family get together in normal circumstances ( we did it via zoom as well ) and play trivial pursuit

Hope Som and daughter are having a lovely picnic.

Ran a new route today. Drove to Newbridge to deliver birthday card to niece, and ran an exploratory sort of run from there. Hadn't realised how bored I was getting with running-from-home.

I’m getting a bit like that but unless I run straight after work but that means no lunch I won’t drive anywhere just to run :-( . No idea if we can in Scotland or Not

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed, sometimes even running.
