Happy birthday Bint.

Ran in the early morning sunshine today. Bit of a breeze with a cool edge to it so threw in some hill work...paying for it now.

Yes it could have stopped me getting wheat blight or something Um 😁

The new garden furniture has arrived and is really comfy. Thank you GM, although I didn't buy from the same place as you you did give me the kick up the wotsit to get on and buy rather than keep 'thinking about it'. Looking forward to pre-dinner drinks out there later :-)

Great news MM.

Went for an 8 mile run 🏃🏼‍♂️ this afternoon that took in Highdown Hill. What a silly billy I was. Crikey, it’s hot 🥵 out there. I was drenched in sweat 😓 by the time I got to the top. At my age, I ought to know better & should have just gone for a nice flat run.
I couldn’t believe it, there were people sunbathing up on Highdown Hill.

:) :) MM

Cheerful thread today.

I did some gardening :-o We went to a farm shop for milk, bread and veggies and I came home with a rhododendron, geranium, fuchsia and some marigolds.

Then I repotted and tried to resurrect some neglected plants I already had.
Now we have a nice little corner with flowers in it :)

3 miles done, decidedly on the warm side. Felt a lot more manageable than the day-before-yesterday's run, probably because of treating yesterday as a more-or-less rest day.

Patio rebound was fun. Maybe if I stop doing so many classes at home things might stop hurting enough to run a bit faster? Though I don’t really care :)
I mowed the lawn earlier and looked at my bike in the shed when I got the mower out. It might be time for my annual cycle!

Thank you for the birthday wishes, you lovely lot!!! :-)

Work has been a b*stard, but I did yoga first thing, did an intervals session at lunchtime, ate a home made cream tea for lunch, PaulaMc left cake on my doorstep heart and now I have Malbec
