Sweetie brilliant blog thank you :-)
I ran a slow and upright route back on empty roads it was good. I was nipped by a naughty lurcher dog on the walk out but mostly I had the fields to myself. He didn’t break the skin I suspect he was on a shorter walk than normal and a bit psycho about it

:) Dipps.

I did in the end Yumee.

I've signed up to work HCA shifts in the hospital if needed. We're not hearing anything about being used as nurses, but HCAs are just as important. Waiting to hear back - all it took was an email with some details and a scan of my passport.

What a bad dog, Dipps! :-O

Morning all. I am SO glad the sun is shining at the moment - things would definitely feel worse without it (sorry if that sounds shallow but you know what I mean).

My youngest daughter works in Nottingham, having been there for 4 years doing her degree and Masters. She has a zero hours contract at a special needs school and is no longer required. She lives in a house with 3 university students who are staying put. I've made the decision to go and fetch her home. Not sure whether I should but (a) I will worry less about her if she's here and (b) we still have to subsidise her and she will cost less if she's here. I'm not sure whether I'm 'allowed' to drive to Nottingham and back under the current circumstances but I'm going to do it anyway. I won't be coming into contact with anyone other than her.
Phew! That feels better now I've said it.

Morning gonks. Hope you're all doing OK. GF works in a cafe so they're closed, we're making the most of the extra time together. Off for a long run today after we've done a bit of shopping.

Sarah, that also seems quite logical. I am sure she will also feel more secure at home where you can ensure she gets fed.

It's not the Sarah Woos and the Autumn Leaves that are the problem. It's the people who simply ignore the regulations because they think they are too important. Then they bring in stricter regulations. One problem is that they are usually designed with urban environments in mind and don't necessarily make sense - but you have to have the same rules for everyone and the danger is much higher in urban settings just from sheer numbers.

In Italy, they have banned moving between municipalities altogether or traveling more than xx distance from your house which must be a nightmare for folks living in the countryside, or people who care for someone across a municipal border. But I hope they implement it with a bit of common sense in rural areas. If they imposed that on my mum, she'd never be able to get the dog out at all as she's a danger near roads and my mum isn't really strong enough to hold her back.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
