Huuurraahhhh, parkrun number 300 completed this morning. I'm not going to fib, it was b****y hard work. The wind from the West was really strong. Still, I managed to plod round in 25:14.
Then, to cap it all, on the run home, I managed to get lost in the back streets of Rustington. I'm a silly billy.

Now for a soak in the bath. I expect my wife will come & wake me up before the water gets too cold.

bunting 12BD that’s amazing. 2nd ever PR for me - this week I volunteered and did barcode scanning. Was a doddle :-) which was a relief. Haven’t reset the app though just in case I cocked up somehow - the pressure of being responsible for EVERYONE’s times 😱 (I was the only scanner)
Hope the lurgy is on the way out ITG
Oh dear RH, how inconvenient of him!
The original PR! Wow, and lovely pic. Our PR has only been running for 3 weeks and we had folk who had travelled up quite a long way specifically to PR tourist and for no other reason 😮😮😮

bunting David - for 300 parkruns that is, not for getting lost (although you could probably claim some for getting found again!)

Very windy parkrun for me, but actually quite warm.

Well done all those getting out for runs / parkruns this morning - especially 12BD bunting
I parkrunned also and was 1st in AG (out of 11) and 5 seconds faster than last time I did the course. Happy with that :-)
Good luck races NSC (bit late sorry!) McG, Gravic and Cstar.

Woop for 300 parkruns.

I knocked out a well-wrapped up and slow 10km. Feeling better for it but staying snug for thr rest of the day not to tempt fate. Marginally ahead in WSW despite unscheduled rest so I might be forced out again tomorrow.

Well done David, and AG winner Sweetie (I know, it's not a race ;-) ) Love TeeBee's bro's pic too :-)

Parkrun went fairly well though the four miles afterwards were hard work as my knee felt quite sore. I've done the required mileage for this week now so I'll take tomorrow as a rest day to give my knee some recovery time.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
