Easy long slow runs, just enough to keep warm, a favourite. Hope Santa Dash was good, LG. Homemade marmalade sounds as good as tablet, I too am considering a nice warm kitchen, it’s perishing cold but sunny. We’ll see. I’ll have to look up trapezius pain, I never knew shoulders could be so awkward until recently - mine is now called subacromial something, also new to me. Take it easily LD, I’m lucky that running & walking are fine thank goodness.

You have recovered marvellously Feret - was it your ankle? You seem right up there on any list I look at

Belated good morning all. Good luck those who are “racing” today. Congratulations & quick recoveries scattered liberally around, as appropriate

Hope any adventurers and Groundhog are having a good race :)

Cold swim but it was glorious in the sunshine. Feet still frozen though.

Ferret is a dark horse, Dipps! I have very fond memories of seeing her power round several laps of lake 32 while I was puffing away to the next buoy - and her bike riding is of similar ilk! :-)

I managed 4 miles, the last of which was my Jingle Mile. I had reckoned without the sunshine bringing out the crowds on the Esplanade, particularly a group of cyclists who appear not to be able to count beyond 6 :-( So it was a pathetic effort but it's done and maybe on a quieter day when my right foot isn't so sore I might have done better. Hope springs eternal :-)

Great photo, LG!

Well done, LD - hope the foot eases quickly. Do you know why it’s playing up?
I did my 5K of run walking. Ready to up the running interval again next week.

Adventured. Tricky course to plan this time, only did 2 checkpoints. Mud level acceptable. No pub/pizza as no Fetchies.

:-) Great pic, LG :-)

I did one of the local 10K routes (Grassmore) with a lad from club. It was rather wet and hilly. Happy with the pace as it wasn't an easy one.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
