Rr, there's a thread called the duck thread (duck) where you can find a cheat sheet with all the icons listed with the words needed to get the icon on here (or any other thread).

Just back from 8.7 miles in drizzle. Have discovered recently that by doing run/walk half mile intervals (run 0.45, walk 0.05) I can keep my heart rate low and not drop pace significantly 😊

5 mile drizzly walk this morning, I didn’t want to try to run as one of my calves is acting up.

I was testing out my new Sealskinz waterproof socks and they worked brilliantly well - which I’m glad about as they are the most expensive socks I’ve ever bought. I don’t mind so much getting wet feet whilst running as the effort keeps them warm, but I like my feet to stay dry on a walk.

I couldn't really take to my Sealskinz, they felt too 'slidey' - and then they punctured somehow so were a waste of time. Take care washing them Frag, I think that's where I made my mistake.

It didn't rain much, but the wind was a nuisance on my run this morning. It was really nice to 'bump into' several friends at the coffee box though. I'm starting to miss the social runs - it was fine in the summer running all over the countryside by myself. It hasn't got the same appeal with the winter coming in.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed, sometimes even running.
