I want to go for a run but I’m at SIL’s, she’s become a bit of a lockdown baker and fed me a lot of cake at lunch. I still feel full too full to run.

Great running all!

Fab weekend here! 6.5 mile walk yesterday with family, picnic half way, scrumped some wild apples on the way. Pizza and log fire to round off the day.

Today, pancakes for breakfast, then loads of work in the garden. I stripped the bean canes, turtle gathered seed beans from dried out pods for next year's crop (and to give to anyone who wants them), then we harvested any remaining tomatoes, sorted into various shades of green and orange to ripen indoors and stored the canes away. Pulled up the cauliflowers that had gone to seed (fungal issues) and took down the brassica cage. After lunch, made more pasta sauce with the already ripe tomatoes, a toffee apple crumble with the wild apples, and a shepherd's pie for dinner that's now in the oven.
Back aching now, but at least I feel I've achieved something 😊

It sounds quite astonishing, TM. I've been gardening too, but haven't achieved that much, and haven't done any cooking.

Hello Dobbers. You'll get used to us. Maybe Mrs. Dobbers won't, though. I can't remember how the bin thing started, either. I remember back before it became a Thing, but not how it became a Thing.

Waves to all the other 700ers that I didn't see in person today, lovely to see those we did. I am 1-0 down to GC in the intra-house mini trail cup. Got a bit lost, lost my nerve, looked for a swampy pond in the wrong field, got back 8.5 minutes early. Him ran like mad and got 6 checkpoints and only slightly late having not started his watch till the first checkpoint, and thus time approximate! Much fun. I'm maybe away the 18th. If away not allowed but racing is, we'll be there. Am planning to duathl in November though.

I ran, thankfully Norwich is pretty flat as even a small incline was hard work after too much cake.

For explanation of taking weird photos I just explain that I'm doing some daft treasure hunt on that internet.

Kim, I've got the Brooks Cascadia too and find them very comfortable on the trails. You know from past experience that it makes sense to buy the right shoes.

Lovely walk in the Dorset countryside to another iron age hillfort today with my relatively new walking buddy.
LD, she lived in Sidmouth before moving up here but comes from near the Forest of Dean. She went to Cheltenham last week to visit some friends and went for a walk up Leckhampton Hill. :)
