Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Um, it was the president and I'm sure he'd be delighted.

First main picture on this link.

A former prime minister and former foreign minister are also featured with their kitties.

The current prime minister's views on cats are at present unknown.

I suspect that Donald Trump isn't to be trusted around animals. Or humans. Especially women.

I had a nice run in the rain, hamstring has been a bit of a dork for a day or two so I rested yesterday and just a short one today. Leg hasn't fallen off or anything.

LD, your training was stupendous - I was amazed at the relentlessly accumulated miles - & looking forward to seeing you completely surprise yourself :-) however now lockdown’s changed things. Fingers crossed, Som, glad you didn’t need the gaffer tape today. I’m off to bed shortly, looking forward to reading in bed knowing no more movement today is necessary, strange to think for normal people the evening has just begun.

Here’s an odd question. Over the last few months my eyesight has been deteriorating in that I’ve found I need to wear my reading glasses pretty much all the time when reading it working on the computer, and when looking at my phone. However, on the days recently when I’ve done a good run I’ve found myself reading or using the phone without my glasses on and not feeling the need.

My question is, is running good for the eyes?

Another 6km run done this evening after my 5km walk this morning - 22/100km done! 🙌🏻

On the eyesight front - I’ve just started wearing glasses all of the time. Depth perception feels weird - I’m currently getting used to them I think!

Do there's got to be a Dominic Cummings joke in there somewhere :-)

But seriously, no idea (pun not intended)

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
