Well done LD, glad sense prevailed. Now, could you talk some sense into TM please?

Awesome quilt. Of course it was a typo 2 pages back and my friend's quilt is of t-shirts, not shorts. It wasn't the one in the photo though.

Thanks Daisy. I'll forward the link to Youngest Son. Or come to think of it, to the whole family.

Thank you Daisy. Not 100% sure what to make of that since it comes across as don't rest, don't ice, tape it up, stay positive and attempt normal activities. Which is sort of what I'm trying, including stretches where possible. I am totally on board with "be careful" which is why I am not just jumping back into my usual length or frequency runs. I do follow advice, which is why I waited until a clear xray before running on a suspected stress fracture (and yes it was still a bit sore when I resumed running but physio gave the Ok and it's fine now) and I literally didn't run before I could walk when my disc prolapse flared up last yr. Anyway, hopefully physio will have a free slot next Weds (at work tomorrow until Monday) |

I read somewhere else quite recently that the person who started ICE doesn't believe in the ice/cold bit anymore. Also stay away from the IBu - however much it makes things feel better L*

Fragile Do Not Bend
Thanks for that link LD, I’ve forwarded it to my yoga teacher who is doing a lot of her own study into this kind of thing. Only recently we had a conversation about icing injuries and that it didn’t seem a particularly logical thing that do.

Get well soon, benchies. 7 miles trail run childishly trying to keep pace with the local running club (well, they decided to run on my trail route tonight!)...
