I have swum do Sharktopus can go back to his crochet.
I was very tempted to go to the Lido rather than the indoor pool but given that I make so little use of my pool membership I felt it would be a waste of money. I just hope this weather keeps up so proper OW swimming can recommence next week.

I went swimming, it happened to be a ladies only session so it was very quiet, I actually used the ‘medium’ lane as there was someone in the slow and nobody in medium for most of it. When people did join I didn’t feel too slow. This more reflects the fact that there were lots of old ladies floating up and down, rather than my speed improving!

He’s 16 today Carp, he has been offered an adult library card and I’m getting him a Young Person’s Railcard. Don’t blink or you’ll miss him qualifying for his pension
I was going to run but I am soooooo tired. Might need to wait till tomorrow.

I found that once my boys went to secondary school the rest of the 'childhood' years just whizzed past
It's much nicer now they're in their 20's (one to be 30 this autumn) as time seems to have settled down a bit
