Pretty sure I have the 8mm drop ones, the 275s. Get me sounding like I have the faintest clue what I am talking about! What is it they say, all the gear and no idea! 🍋

GWS Lemon and Bint!

I use Inov-8 Roclites, and I like them, but they don't seem to last very many miles (I suppose they get a harder time than my road shoes, to be fair.)

First person I saw wearing Hokas was dressed as a clown (Rich Cranswick on the TP100). I always think of them as clown shoes now. They also make you 4 inches taller

I’m a brooks cascadia kind of girl. I’ve been petitioning for endure24 based on their Glastonbury for runners tag and the nod from LindsD and SallyKate but I’ve been met with more amusement than interest as it’s a week before South Downs marathon

Is this the place to register 'feeling poorly'? I have felt crap all day and now have a thumping headache to go with it. Bah.

I think I have a pair of all the inov-8s that come in 8mm drop. Currently in love with my roadclaws, which are great for light trail too.- stocking up where I find them as typically they don't make them any more :(

Missing my fallen apart (but getting on for 1000 mile) roclite 315s and not found newer, lighter, versions quite as good - waiting for the 305s to get a bit cheaper to give them a go.

They make me about an inch taller, I reckon. :-)

Still need to do a test run in them (have been wearing them round the house, reaching higher shelves etc ;-)). The run I did in the street outside the shop when I bought them was lovely. They're very light and springy.

Yep, this is the place, McG

My Roclites have all lasted 500 miles and I retire them then.

About This Thread

Maintained by Mandymoo
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
