It seems swanage was popular with school trips as some of my mates all to frequently recall boy/girl occurances they had 30 odd years ago when on a week away, sadly I didn't go🙁
I had nobody turn up for my group tonight Still it didn't matter as I went on a gentle run and enjoyed it. Nipping to the shops now to get some supplies and then I think I'll do a bit more yoga just to round the day off nicely
Was that the 'boing' thing again? I only wish I was so bouncy!
I have never been to Swanage.
My Year 6 trip was to the youth hostel in Alfriston (it's not a youth hostel any more). I have very fond memories of that week, it was loads of fun. Not a clue what we did, other than spend a lot of time leaning into the wind and discussing boys, but I know it was lovely.
Yes PaulaMc, I couldn't resist when Bint said she'd run with you again!! Don't worry I'll stop now, I'll just relive it in my head and sit giggling to myself like a loon!!
My Year 6 (or 4th year Juniors as it was called back in the day) residential trip was to Llandrindod Wells which I think was in or near the Brecon Beacons. It is the reason I can't eat Bread and Butter pudding to this day. I remember going to Aberystwyth for the day and we all thought we were hilarious because we called it "'Ave a wrist watch".
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome
The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'
All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.
