Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I would’ve loved to say the pun in my early message was planned but alas I’ll have to give autocorrect the plaudits.

Elbow is very tender.

Hey ho. Travelling to derby tomorrow for prep for a wedding on Sunday. Then New Years with friends in Doncaster and back to work in the 2nd.

Where has the Christmas break gone!!!

[Re last page: Dr thinks it is most probably a UTI. He has antibiotics and took a pee sample up to the hospital to double-check but I don't know when they will run the tests at this time of year. Still, if it gets better with the antibiotics, problem solved.]

Oh no Andy :( I hope you can repair the jacket, and the elbow injury is minor.

I survived. 27 2 miles. It was really hard, I ran out of energy for some reason and the last 12 miles were a horrid slog.

However, it was a horrid slog through beautiful countryside (and a not inconsiderable amount of mud). Well, it was beautiful until it got proper dark and I had to put the headtorch on :-p

Marathon/ultra no.25 I think that was.

About This Thread

Maintained by Mandymoo
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
