The instructor at my strengthening class (who's a sports physio) asked how my foot was getting on. Interestingly, he said almost word for word what the podiatrist said last week ie that until I can hop without pain on the bad foot, I should not run. However we did quite a bit of ankle and foot mobilisation in the warm-up and we noted that I could do a lot more than I'd been able to a couple of weeks ago. That's reassuring as I was beginning to think improvement had stalled completely.

I ran a bit tonight, not too much, but a bit. It was ok as long as I didn't try and run fast.
