Back from standing around in the cold at parkrun. It was a takeover day with a local running club but the funnel managers didn't understand how essential it is to keep the finish funnel moving, so another 'redundant' (ie recovering from injury) RD and I had to step in. At least it made me feel useful
This week and next are our local Foodbank donation weeks, and we got a really good haul today
swittle - that’s made me get off the sofa to be useful. I’m wondering how they’re getting on, it’s alright here as long as you keep moving! & I met team Jigs, they came over the line one by one so my timekeeping was accurate, so helpful 😂 It was fun today but my hand froze after 30 minutes.
Good day of moving around for me today. First up Bodypump where I killed my arms fatally to death. And then a drills/technique session organised by my club, coached by Lizzie Fluke. I didn't think I'd be able to do much after BP, but it turned out that I still had some bounce and managed to do everything she asked. It was a most excellent session.
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome
The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'
All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.
