Morning all- just ...

Hugs for those that need (there seems to be a lot of sadness at the moment)

Running club wont happen - they have decided to cancel the 4 mile group until next year so will need to get out on my own and push up to 10k when I can. Still full of cold so no running or cycling for me tonight.

I am now a bog queen (autocorrect helpfully said “big queen” which is a bit different) it is the initial step in which makes me a bit nervous. CStar if we miss you for a group photo at the start you will have to double round and run it again ;-)

That's a pity Mandy, why would they cancel a group that is probably quite popular :-(

I went a round-about way to the pub to meet the runners and as it's a fantastic blue skies and sunny day it was a pleasure...until I hit a patch of ice on the cycle path through a park :-0 Thank goodness I managed to stay on board but it didn't do much for my confidence. Though thinking about it, at least I *did* manage to recover, so perhaps I should take heart from that. Just glad it wasn't on the road with cars and lorries around me :-0

CStar! :(

Seren, I will piggyback you through the bog (admitted I'm a teensy bit shorter than CStar so it might have to be shoulders) pig :)

I've picked up my t-shirt and tried it on. It's a medium and very tight. :-o Why can't everything be standardised? Normally a medium is massive. I might take the scissors to it.

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
