Right decision, Carp, & also hope you get for a while anyway.
Sounds good, Bint + Paula, & Meadowsboy, enjoy cooking lunch after a snowy run.
Wondering how the racers are - it was wet & chilly here for me, though I was warm running, & my 👓 too wet to see out of ...but Achilles was fine so I’m very happy.

Fierce and Focused Fleecy
Struggled through a sleety Farnborough HM with FM, missed CStar and everyone else I probably knew locally. I seem to be chafed everywhere from wearing so many wet layers. It was fine, bloody cold though and I couldn’t see through the snow and rain on my glasses.

Fragile Do Not Bend
Sleety 5 mile trail run for me this morning, the sleet caught me by surprise as no precipitation forecast on the BBC weather app until midday. Made the fronts of my thighs, my tummy and boobs go quite red, which hasn’t happened to me before.

Well done, Fleecy! Hope you're warm and dry now. You deserve something highly calorific to eat now. Have a lovely afternoon.

Not surprised you're not keen! Although it might not be so bad if there was a meal cooked by someone else at the end of it, maybe?

A walk?! Tell him to go on a walk by himself.
Bits of my body do that going bright red thing too. It's ever so attractive.

FDNB - that's me after any cold run. 6.5 perfect, chatty, miles with Bint (so grateful that she let me know she was about to run and asked if I was up for it, pretty sure I wouldn't have done it on my own), and then a less chatty 2.5 miles with the dog, finishing at the car that needed picking up from the station. That's 9 cold, snowy miles that ticked lots of boxes.

International Troublemaking Grouch
Once I ran in Greenland and it was so cold and windy that, despite many layers, not only did I go bright red, I broke out in a massive rash all over - a kind of hives, I think. That would be the ONE TIME I left the antihistamines at home.
It's a refreshing -10C this morning, so just fine for a wee outdoor swim.
