😂 alpenrose - I walked backnforth along a Bournemouth platform waiting for final connection last night, there was time to plant a flower but watch kept losing signal dammit.

& Ymee, I’m late with this, hope antibiotics are working, your Dad recovering well & so happy your 6month blood tests were good :-)
Yup I’m back & missing my Oz familywith suddenly grown up granddaughters. I’m not biased of course, but they are wonderful. Outrageously rude to their parents & brilliantly lovely to us, we had loads of fun.

Sounds great ferret :-)
My pf is much better but my mileage and hill training prep for Saturday week is risible. I can come along to have fun, see how far I get, then abandon ship if needs be, right?

Not really keeping up with Fetch - bit busy! Had a lovely run in Central Park yesterday but got a bit lost so a planned 6 miles became over 10...

Serendippily, I hope you manage a lovely day somehow, rotten injury timing for you. I keep nearly doing a similarly beautiful race with daughter, a half for me full for her but we daren’t enter, particularly as its other side of the planet. (The great ocean road marathon)
I managed to lose myself taking a shortcut through the university from city botanical gardens in Brisbane on Monday. My route looks ridiculous, but the university is a particularly smart destination, sort of club la Santa facilities + galleries museums cafes - lovely.

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
