Ouch Ymee I agree breeze blocks are the way forward. Thankfully OH had the snip, I came off the pill which had been masking all my issue and ended up having a hysterectomy - so were are doubly safe.

In other news - eldest grandsonfound put he had passed the kent test today for the Grammar school which is fabulous considering all his issues he has had with late autism diagnoses 😁

Ymee, you have my sympathy, but I have no suggestions to offer.

Well done MM's grandson.

I ran. It rained, it was windy, and there were acorns, beech-mast and chestnut shells underfoot. I managed not to slip, trip or skid on any of them. As soon as I got home the wind dropped, it stopped raining and the sun came out.

I honestly don't know how I get any work done.

This is from the window in my office.

One of the icebergs has floated right up and is nearly on the shore. I may have to go investigate.

Ymee, that sounds like an awful experience, you should take your OH and get him to come in and hold your hand next time, and in the meantime, keep a pair of nutcrackers lying around in a prominent position. ;-)

Run done.

Well done, mini-mini-MM. :)

I was going to get snipped but as OH had a planned Caesarean for our fourth (and last), she was asked if she'd like her tubes tying "whilst we're in there." :-o

About This Thread

Maintained by Merrymoo
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
