Oh dear Kim, what a shame :-(
Dog down the road which attacked my parents' dog last week attacked mine this evening :-( "she doesn't like other dogs if they are on leads" really doesn't cut it with me as an excuse. She's lost a chunk of hair and has a cut on her thigh, but seems ok otherwise, but still. What if it suddenly decides it also doesn't like kids, or people on the other end of the lead?!

Kim, shame you had such a bad time in your race but well done for managing to get to the finish and collect your medal. medal Hope you recover well, I'm sure the holiday will help. :)

Ymee, that sounds horrible - I think you should report it.

AL, some people went away on holiday, some people cam home from holiday, some people ran up a bit of a hill, Kim ran a shit marathon and Bint bust a few ribs and a wrist. Apart from that, not too much else. ;-)

The dog is not under control and the owners are therefore breaking the law (Dangerous Dogs Act - applies to any and every type of dog, not just certain breeds). I think they need to be reminded of that - maybe suggest that as their dog has now, to your knowledge, attacked at least two dogs on leads, their dog should be muzzled when not on a lead. Otherwise, I would have no hesitation in reporting them to the police.

Ymee, you and your maw should both report it. That dog needs to be on a leash at all times if out of the house.

About This Thread

Maintained by Mandymoo
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
