I could have emulated Fleecy tonight if I'd gone out with the club - I only need 4 and a bit miles, and it's a lovely evening. Instead there's a glass of Riesling in my hand and The Repair Shop on the telly

I was going to ask "What's The Repair Shop?" - but with enough Riesling, who cares?

The Repair Shop is the best thing on telly at the mo Doogs. It's people bringing much loved but completely wrecked 'things' - anything from a stained glass window to a toy lamb that was little more than a rag to a toy fire engine - to some workshops, and some amazingly talented people restore them to as good as new. It's a delight from start to finish, but it most certainly comes under the heading of 'Slow TV'
