Went out for a very bimbly few miles mainly to bag some WSW squares. I'm on the sofa currently but it's such a nice afternoon I think some gardening will be in order later.

Have a serious case of cba with running today and have now just had hair coloured so it's not going to happen.

Best take dog out for a nice long walk instead

Another 7 mile run in the forest today, around the delightfully named Stinking Edge Wood. Another route that's only possible in drought conditions, or waders. (or bare feet & just accepting the bogs & river crossings).
No deer - except some in the far distance on the drive home.
A few planes coming back, I assume, from visiting AR in Bournemouth. Any experts who can identify them?

Lots of good miles being put in by 700ers today :)

I ran a 10k. It was uphill ALL THE WAY and I'm never entering it again!

um - my son says they are Dakota DC10s. I have absolutely no idea if he is right or not!
RRRRRrrrrr - the amount I enjoyed my holiday is directly proportional to the number of lottery tickets I intend to buy this week (don't normally play, except when thoroughly miserable eg when a fab holiday is over!)
Sounds tough Carp!

A wise, wise decision Carp. I’m not a fan of hills.

Marshalling at charity walk in the morning. Then 11 miles done. First time in ages I forgot to unpause it though. Thankfully was for less than half a mile. Followed (very closely!) by a sports massage.

Thanks both - have googled the airshow and AR is right - as is Ymee's son for the first pic.
The utube shot from today of the Dakota at Bournemouth has someone waving out the open (or missing?) rear door.
And the Sally B (aka B17 Flying Fortress) matches videos (4 engines, 'specific' tail shape, US decals).
Thanks again ... and the running terrain when not looking up

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
