Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Fetch had a notice on the Badge page, saying none have been awarded for a while because there'd been problems with that bit of the website, but that it is back in business now.

Yup. I picked up about 8 today, including the ultra badge which I think I might hand back - yes, I ran over 27 miles, but it was a self navigated marathon and I missed a key sign which had collapsed into a hedge. Think I'll enjoy it more when I've actually earned it properly.

Endure next year would be an ideal opportunity Badger :-)
MrS can no longer go as it conflicts with South Downs marathon. So currently I’ve invited a work colleague and his daughter to a field in Reading for the weekend. Adding a stranger off the internet would normalise the whole thing nicely :-)

Yay for Bint's new shoes and bra!
I didn't get any new badges which is a bit sad really :( I might make LA by Christmas though if I keep it up.

About This Thread

Maintained by Mandymoo
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
