Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Oh dear MM. :-(

Shall we all go on a 700 holiday somewhere warm (but not too warm) for a few weeks until Spring is established? I think we should :-)

Sorry you had a pants run MM :-(

Happy birthday Carp, hope you had plenty of cake

Some excellent running from the 700ers today - I am jealous.
I did a short run to test out my calf, just 10 mins, still not quite right I think, but I might be being overly cautious, lovely to put on my running shoes again though :-)

Lovely runs, CStar and Kim - albeit a bit different.

I had forgotten that OH had booked us salsa classes starting tonight so we could do something nice together (sic). (Our weekly "date night" got gradually scuppered when the kids started coming to the cinema with us.) Unfortunately, OH has been struck down with man-flu/plague/double terminal pneumonia or something. I've bribed little-troublemaker (age 12) to come with me... this could be interesting. He's a very short 12yo so I'm hoping the first class doesn't have too many twirls! My shoes are all either too flat to dance or too high to dance with a stunted 12yo so I'm not sure how this will go.

It all counts as cross-training though, right?

Double cross-training, ITG ;-)
Awesome XC photos.

Yay to those getting out after lurgies/injuries, boo to lingering injuries
Finally seen Paddington 2 :-) Unfortunately I am so face-blind that I nearly shouted 3/4 of the way through "OMG it's bloody Hugh Grant!!!" when I *finally* realised who that vaguely familiar actor was. Apparently Mad-Eye Moody was in it too, but not a hope in hell of recognising him as he'd grown a beard.

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
