Track sessions- hate them at the time, live them after and really help with ny running first one for years in a week or two.
Fun swimming with Reggi. He loves the water, wicked Nana dunked him a few times. He repaid me by throwing up all over me in the pool! Not clever

I think I would probably loathe track sessions.
I ran and it was fab! Well, it felt fabulous even if the figures weren't 'fabulous'. Run 1 of my 10K training programme was run 15 mins, walk 2, run 15. I covered 2.78 miles in that time at about 11.32 which is a pretty good pace for me at the moment (or any time actually ;)), especially when it included 2 mins of walking. The sun came out too! That should set me up nicely for a pootle round parkrun on Saturday.
Have you been yet, WW??

Our track night on a Wednesday is very busy and we have about 5 groups everyone doing a different session so no one knows what any else is doing in my group we set the session and some do more than others depending on speed or what they raced the week before or even what they are going to race. I can honestly say we have all abilities

Hello and welcome Huntsman.
At least two of us on this thread (myself and ITG) are currently working through C25K programmes, having been off running through injury for long enough to have to go Right Back to the Beginning.
Today was session 1 of week 2; 5 mins brisk walk warm-up, then run for 1 and a half minutes, walk for 2 minutes, repeat a further 5 times. ITG is more advanced than I am.

Fleecy - we had a book like that, called "Would you rather...?" Death didn't feature in it, though; Would you rather be lost in... Would you rather have to eat...

It all sounds like one of Greg's deathmatch contests to me.

We had a would you rather book too, but again would you rather live in a house in the country or a flat in a city etc. I should have been doing a nice 2 hour run this evening between finishing work and picking oldest boychild up, but hubby messaged me at work at lunch to say he had an unexpected meeting so couldn't sort the kids out and could I just knock off early and do it all (and therefore miss my run). Just knocking off early is not very easy in my work. Just as well oldest boychild has house keys...
