I hope your friend continues to recover, Carp ![]() If Sharktopus doesn’t want to see me naked (and let’s face it, who does?) he can crochet himself a little flannel and use it to cover his eyes ![]() |

I'm sure Linds and DD will enjoy te track sessions. SK at our club all members are welcome at tracks sessions and that means 13m/m runners as well as the fast ones. They just set the session at the beginning and let people do it with others at their own pace. I've only done a couple but I really enjoyed them. RRR-CAZ I'm sure everyone will pull together, sometimes it good to be able to talk with other people who have been similarly affected, running together might be cathartic xx |

Sounds great FML I agree it could be a positive event, RRRRR, paying tribute in a weird sort of way? I’ve only done track a few times but it was fun, I would go more often if it was a different night but Friday evenings are not appealing! |

Sharktopus is not the only mutant sea creature in existence. Just before Christmas DS3 and me had a conversation in the kitchen where he was telling me about his class at school doing a project on marine ecology. At one point the conversation went like this: DS3: There's something in the ocean that's really cool. Me: Oh what's that? DS3: I can't remember what it is called but its alive and really hard. It begins with "C" * Me: Is it a Croctopus? DS3: Is that like half crocodile and half octopus? Me: Yeah the front end is the crocodile bit and the back end has eight tentacles. DS3: That would be a really scary. Imagine having the jaws of a crocodile and eight legs to grab you with! Me: Yeah but be careful coz I think there's one in our bathroom! *We did establish that the answer was coral. If I did let this beast out of our bathroom, who do you think would win in a fight - Sharktopus or Croctopus? ![]() |

My favourite bit: There are even crocodile fossils from the dinosaur era that show signs of predation by ancient sharks, suggesting this conflict is truly ancient. |
