Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

That’s positive LG.

DOMS from hell for me today. Getting out of chairs hasn’t been fun! Did manage running school though.

Have you ever listened to Richard Herring's podcast? He interviews people and if there's a lull in the conversation he asks an 'emergency question'. Emergency questions include 'would you rather have a hand made of ham, or an armpit that dispensed sun cream?'

ITG - as ever, I like your thinking :-)
An armpit that dispensed sun cream definitely. Whilst sun cream is not terribly useful in country that sees the sun for about one day in the summer, I fear the ham hand would turn putrid and smelly after a time.

Evening all. I am looking forward to running on a track at my new job. Last day in current job tomorrow, so excited. Lurgy has mostly gone, still got a cough, still snotty (but always am really) and today an upset stomach but a LOT better than last week and needing fewer items from the drugs trolley, though sudafed at night mean I can breath and I find that kind of helps. Sorry for the hit and run runner, how awful, hope they make a good recovery.

I am taking that part of it as a positive but I am frustrated and being rather narky. Thing will hopefully return to normal next week when I'm back to normal hours and my dad had gone back to my sister's before his return down south at the weekend.

About This Thread

Maintained by Mandymoo
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
