Wow that's quite a jump, Bint, from the little runs you've been doing. Or have I missed your running up and down mountains like a little Chamonix chamois?
Which songs will you be singing to PP tomorrow? Have you got anything special up your sleeve to spur him on?

I have been hiking a LOT this week and those last 17 miles are going to be run/hike so I'll be grand.
I'm going to it him with a big stick if he stops moving

It's good that you recovered in time to get something out of Chamonix, Bint!

what excellent support for PP - I think
So far: - the aldermaston taxi rank (rated 3 stars on google) turned out not to exist. All mini cabs booked so that was 2 mile walk along the main road. Found the footpath at the end of it - I have left my water bottle at reading stn and am having to go back for it. That’s 6 miles walked then. - Linds lost her car keys because she pitched her tent on top of them - we lost the relay armband. it was on my wrist
- im feeling more relaxed and sunny than for what feels like forever. Linds makes a very nice flapjack
We are near to the entrance of gate D opposite the day car park and near a huge orange neon flag. Hoping for visitors

Sounds a normal Endure Friday Seren
I could have told you that Aldermaston does not have a taxi rank or a minicab firm, having discovered that last year when standing at the station with a huge rucksack, a tent and a camp stove. I hope you get your water bottle ok.

eek Carp. By some godsend the tent I have inherited has wheels like an air steward trolley so I could trundle with my bundle. And I had two people help me put it up and one make me a cup of tea I was thinking of your little worm tent - someone was describing you backing into it
