Clearly, LG! I'll not lie, I am very glad indeed the crazy idea I had of doing this as my only marathon disappeared along with the melting snow back in the winter

Shakes pom-poms for Corrah for C9 an impressive distance! Actually, any distance is impressive in this heat! I am not used to heat...

Text from Corrah...'now through 21 miles and having a ball in the mud in the forest'. She's indomitable

Finally on a sofa. I'm afraid that I didn't pb after all, I spent too long in the Love Station. It was very hot after the torrential rain I had on the way to the race.
I ran(and walked) the whole way with ferret and it was lovely to have the company.
I think I was a bit under-trained as well. I've decided that 10 miles is quite far enough after all and after the Farnham race I won't be signing up for any more halfs.

Great job, Corrah!
I have blogged. It is very long and not exactly Anna Karenina.
(For those with long memories, the pony-tail nemesis is the one who got the race date changed back in the 10k series in 2016, and then pipped me on goal difference to 2nd place.)

Well done Alpen and ferret . I don't think today's weather was going to help folks aiming for PBs.
